Hook : Gamakatsu B10S # 4 - 6

Thread : Uni-Thread 6/0 Yellow

Tail : Marabou Yellow , Grizzly Saddle Hackle Yellow , Flashabou Silver

Wing : Marabou Yellow

Collar : Natural Deer Hair Natural

Body : Natural Deer Hair Natural

Eye : Solider Orange Plastic Eyes Orange

Fly Tier: Mike Durling

Tying Instruction :

1) Tie thread on hook near bend.
2) Tie on 4-6 strands of silver flashabou.
3) Tie on one yellow marabou feather.
4) Tie one yellow grizzly feather on either side of the marabou tail.
5) Tie on two yellow marabou feathers on top of the tail as a wing.
6) Spin on the first layer of deer hair and leave the tips as a collar.
7) Keep spinning and pack successive rows of deer hair. Cement each row with Dave's Flexament (thin out flexament so it's like water)
8) Trim body with scissors and a double edge razor blade.
9) Burn or cut eye sockets too glue the eyes in. Cut the stems off the eyes and cement them with Goop.

Note :

A good Smallmouth Bass fly. Use different colors for tails and wing to add a little variety. Can be fished on the surface with a floating line or sub-surface with a sinking tip.
