Tie on dark brown embroidery thread (one strand) on side of hook closest to you. Tie on tan embroidery thread (one strand) on far side of hook. Leave ends of embroidery long that are going towards hook eye. Wrap tying thread towards hook eye, binding the embroidery thread along the each side of the hook. This can be done by making a few wraps with tying thread then pulling the on the embroidery thread so that it straitens on either side of the hook. This step is important because it gives you a flat base to weave the body. Tie off tying thread at hook eye and cut.
