Tying Instruction : 1) Tie on thread at mid shank. 2) Tie on Hi-Viz wing. (This stuff floats well, takes liquid floatant, and makes great parachute post too) 3) Warp thread back to bend of hook and tie in Grizzly and Brown hackle. 4) Wrap thread back to eye. 5) Palmer hackle body. 6) Whip finish head. Note : This fly is the cousin to a Griffth's gnat, but is useful when trout are picky and look for small midge clusters, and are refusing the larger Griffth's gnat. |
