Thread : Gordon Griffiths 14/0 Brown
Tail : Rabbit Dubbing Cream
Body : Brown Thread
Ribbing : Midge Flash Red
Thorax : Peacock Herl
Wing Case : Pheasant Tail

Fly Tier: Jason M. Franz


Tying Instruction :

1) Tie on thread near eye of hook.
2) Wrap a smooth thread body back to bend of the hook and dub a small ball of yellow dubbing.
3) Tie on red krystal flash and wrap a smooth thread body back to the hook eye.
4) Rib body with red krystal flash.
5) Tie on pheasant tail wing for wing case.
6) Tie on peacock herl for thorax.
7) Wrap peacock herl thorax.
8) Pull pheasant tail wing case over thorax and tie off.
9) Tie a neat head and whip finish.



Note :

This fly was stuck on the end of a sewing needle with tacky wax to give you a perspective of its size… Very, very small!
