MONO EYED CADDIS PUPA
Hook : Daiichi 1150 # 16
Thread : Uni-Thread 8/0 Yellow
Abdomen : Rabbit Atron Blend Caddis Green
Thorax : Hares Ear Brown
Hackle : Hungarian Partridge Olive
Legs : CDC (Cul-De-Canard)
Eyes : Burnt Mono Eyes X-small

Fly Tier: Ian Martin


Tying Instruction :

1) Tie on thread near bend of hook.
2) Dub a football shaped body of olive dubbing 2/3 of the hook shank.
3) Take a pair of tweezers and place a 1/4 inch piece of 6lb mono between the jaws. Now burn the ends with a lighter to make eyes.
4) Tie eyes on just behind the eye of the hook.
5) Tie in a clump of CDC on the underneath of the hook as legs.
6) Wrap a collar of partridge.
7) Dub a small thorax between the eyes and whip finish.


Note :

Ian Martin gave this fly to me, unfortunately it has been fished, so it's probably not the best example. Maybe I can scrounge another one off of him?
