Popper : Hard Foam Pencil Popper Body #4
Head Paint : Automotive Scratch-fix Spray Paint Silver , Olive And Blue
Eyes : Testor Enamel Yellow And Black
Clear Coat : Sally Hansen Nail Polish
Lower wing : Saddle Hackle Narrow Cream
Middle Wing : Grizzly Saddle Natural And Flashabou Pearl
Upper Wing : Grizzly Saddle Olive
Hackle : Grizzly Saddle Natural

Tying Instruction :

1) Secure popper body to hook, pointy side forward, with 5-minute epoxy.
2) Paint popper body with metallic silver paint. Let dry.
3) Lightly spray top of popper body with olive paint. Let dry.
4) Lightly spray top of popper body with light blue paint. Let dry.
5) Paint on yellow eyes. Let dry.
6) Paint black pupils on eyes. Let dry.
7) Coat the popper body with thin layer of rod building epoxy (you can use nail polish but it is not as durable). Let dry.
8) Place hook, with finished popper body, into vice.
9) Tie on 2 cream saddle hackles, flat wing style.
10) Tie on 4 strands of holographic Mylar.
11) Tie on 2 grizzly saddle hackles, flat wing style.
12) Tie on 1 olive variant saddle hackle, with shiny side facing you.
13) Apply a drop or two of super glue over thread to secure wings.
14) Tie on grizzly hackle and wrap 5 or 6 times to cover base of wings.
15) Tie off hackle, clip excess. Wrap thread at base of popper body and tie off with several half hitch knots. Coat thread with nail polish or head cement.
