Tying Instruction : 1) Tie on thread near hook bend. 2) Tie on craft fur tail and make a few wraps of thread around the base so it stands up at a 45 degree angle. 3) Tie on krystal flash 4-6 strands. 4) Tie on hackle at base of tail. Use 2 hackles on larger flies. Wrap hackles 4-6 turns around base of tail. 5) Tie on eyes one each side. 6) Tie on Estaz and wrap thread to the eye of the hook. Wrap a small body of Estaz. 7) Fold 20lb mono over hook just behind the eye. If you kink the mono by folding and pinching it tightly with your fingers it will be a lot easier. Tie on mono weed guard at the eye of the hook. 8) Whip finish and add nail polish to head. Note : Classic Borski pattern. |
